Now, Outsourced finally comes home. The story goes thus…. Todd Anderson (Josh Hamilton) spends his days managing a customer call center in Seattle until his job, along with those of the entire office, are outsourced to India. Adding insult to injury, Todd must travel to India to train his new replacement. As he navigates through the chaos of Bombay and an office paralyzed by constant cultural misunderstandings, Todd yearns to return to the comforts of home.
But it is through his team of quirky yet likable Indian call center workers, including his friendly and motivated replacement, Puro (Asif Basra), and the charming, opinionated Asha (Ayesha Dharker), that Todd realizes that he too has a lot to learn—not only about India and America, but about himself. He soon discovers that being outsourced may be the best thing that ever happened to him. "Outsourced" is a romantic comedy and Dharker plays the woman whose life veers of course with disgruntled Todd entering it. As Ayesha Dharker simply puts it, "Outsourced is a romance between two countries, not just two people." Director John Jeffcoat avers Dharker was a real trouper, turning in "a great performance under some very difficult circumstances, like excessive heat and lighting rigs falling upon her. I'd work with her again in a heartbeat." says Jeffcoat. Touche! Interestingly, according to Variety, Ken Kwapis, of The Office, has reportedly been tapped by NBC to create a television pilot for a potential spinoff of Outsourced. NO SECURITY, NO TAX – Tarun Rathi

Recently entire India, especially every Mumbaikar was very angry as the Government securities failed to protect us from such hideous terrorist attacks.

Thus people are lobbying against the Government of India and security agencies, for their lack of accountability.

Their clear and loud demand to the Government is “provide every common man of Mumbai proper security and only then will they pay taxes” this was aggressively put forward by “Producer and Social Worker MR. Tarun Rathi” who was leading this movement. Some film personalities joined Mr. Rathi in this movement too. Actor Suresh Oberoi clearly stated that the present government has fully failed to give security to a common man.

Tarun Rathi asserted “Now the general public of mumbai is tremendously angry with the poor functioning of this Government”.

During this meeting many gave their opinion on Security and Tax systems. According to Mr. Rathi , 60% of the entire tax of the country comes from Mumbai and still the we Mumbaikar get 0% security”.

In Today’s meeting eminent and responsible citizens of Mumbai along with film personalities voiced out that they are living in a fear built atmosphere and have every right to question their own safety?  They stated that there is every bit a possibility that at any given time, any merciless terrorist can intrude their personal space and hold them hostage.

The government insures the security of all politicians but what about us “the common man??”

This meeting was a platform for common Indians to show their concerns, thus many showed up to insure their solidarity with Mr. Rathi.

They were all deeply hurt, ashamed and furious with the ruthless dance of death that took place in Mumbai on 26th of this November.

The meeting concluded with a unanimous decision of creating a Non Political Organization, which would create pressure on the Government of India and force them to provide security for every common Indian starting from Mumbai today. Every man present in the meeting took a pledge saying that he will not rest till the last man guilty in and outside the government, responsible for the merciless killings in Mumbai will not be jailed or made accountable.

Mr. Rathi concluded by announcing that this is a non-cooperation movement against the government. NO SECURITY NO TAX!!!!!

The meeting was organized regarding these sensitive issue at Saraswati English School, D.N Andheri (W).

Katrina Kaif: Total workaholic!

Katrina Kaif is a thorough workaholic! The actress does not like a single minute going waste when it comes to work. So imagine Katrina's disgust when the director is compelled to cancel the day's shooting due to reasons beyond reach. A unit members revealed, "The incident occurred on the sets of Ajab Pyar Ki Ghazab Kahaani. It was pouring cats and dogs that day. Rajkumar Santoshi had no choice but cancel the shooting of the film. While the lead star Ranbir Kapoor and the entire unit rejoiced at the thought of having an entire day off, Katrina was saddened by it. "A day off is such a waste of time," Katrina was heard saying. Katrina wished it had not rained heavily. "She wished work would continue as usual. Katrina enjoys being occupied with work all the time because she puts her heart and soul in it. She always says that there's no substitute to hard work."

Vidya Balan is an excellent mimic!

Guess what! Vidya's an excellent mimic! A unit member revealed, "Vidya can imitate other actors with utmost ease! It's a treat to watch her take off on them." This keeps the unit entertained. "Vidya is the life of our night schedules. She is high in spirits even at 4 in the morning. Neither does she nor does she let other get bogged down by dullness. Vidya is always smiling and cracking jokes. The grueling schedules do not look grueling any more."

Hottest Lyricist of Today's

Kumaar becomes Bollywood Ka Laadla

with 'Maa Da Laadla Bigad Gaya'

'Maa Da Laadla Bigad Gaya' is the song what made him real Ladla Lyricist of Bollywood. Having come from Jalandhar, Kumaar, the newest lyricist on the Block has made every one dance to his words. His song Ma Da Laadla can be heard everywhere and anywhere. Whether it is a five star hotel's discotheque or a modest beer bar or an auto or ac taxi, this song has been the most played, asked and heard. The remarkable things what is in the words of  these songs are  the  naughtiness and peppiness of young generation without any offend to older generation.

Before hitting the gold mine with Dostana, Kumaar has written  songs  for TV serials 'Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahi,' 'Pari Hum Main', etc and films like Plan, Bhram, Rama Rama Kya Hai Drama, Ham Se Hai Jahan. Jawani Deewani. Hijack and a few more films. His songs Kabhi Na Aaye Na Rabba (Film: Musafir) and Kyon Dolte Ho Aage Peeche (Film: 'Golmaal' in B& W picturiesed on Paresh Rawal) were also hits but Dostaana's songs Maa Kaa Laadla and Deki Lakh Lakh pardesi girl have given Kumaar the last push which catapulted him into top echelons of Bollywood lyricists.

This lyricist of today's everyday-taste-changing-time seems to know how to win his listeners by his songs. On what makes his songs so dulcet and an encore-songs, Kumaar says,   "Mukhdas are very important. They are opening the songs. It is very important that   Mukhdas have a hook and at the same time it should not contradict the mood of the song."

"Raaz 2', 'Jashan ,Toss. 'Lottery'….are some of his soon to be released films which will be remembered for beautiful music and songs, assures Kumaar.

Enough is Enough!

Radio Offers a platform for Mumbaikars to express themeselves and demand answers!

Red FM throws open its Airwaves for Mumbaikars!

Mayor Shubha Raul promises on-Air to raise listeners’ questions with the authorities!

In these times of trial, while the whole city is coming to terms with the horrendous activities of the last two days, Radio in its own way has been giving people a platform to express their views & feelings through the medium. Red FM’s RJs were on-air live throughout Wednesday night taking in callers and updating listeners. Red FM’s airwaves have been thrown open to Mumbaikars and the music on-air has been reduced to accommodate the flood of calls from people including victims, families of victims, eye witnesses, staff members of the hotels and the common man who have come forward to speak about their experiences, to send out a plea, to express their anger or to demand answers for their unanswered questions.

While the whole of Mumbai has been watching the drama unfold over the last two days, not too many answers have come forth. Enough has been said about the undying spirit of Mumbai! Enough of innocent lives have been lost too many times! We have had Enough of our ministers coming up with official statements offering their condolences! Mumbaikars are not in the mood to forget and move on yet another time. Its time for answers to some difficult questions, we have the right to know, Why?

RJ Malishka of Morning No.1 on Red FM said, “We love the spirit of Mumbai, but we should not use that as a shield to get up and get on with our lives, like it’s just another day! The end of these few terrorists doesn’t mean the end of terrorism, it’s a long term battle and we citizens will have to fight it. Each and every citizen of Mumbai has a responsibility, in his own little way, to pressurize the system to take action.”

Red FM has thrown open its phone lines & SMS communication for Mumbaikars who want to express themselves through this medium. If you think you have a question to raise feel free to contact the station through:

BIG Music launches Gayatri Mantra by Jagjit Singh

Big Music announced the launch of its latest music album “Gayatri Mantra” by Jagjit Singh.  The Gayatri Mantra is one of the most potent Vedic mantras and is projected as the most powerful mantra known to mankind. Chanting and listening to the mantra ensures a healthy mind, a fit body and a fulfilling life that one has always wanted to lead. The Gayatri Mantra bestows upon its seeker universal knowledge and helps him find eternal wisdom.

While there are many musical products of similar nature, what sets this album apart is the rendition of the Gayatri Mantra by none other than Padma Bhushan Shri Jagjit Singh. His dulcet voice, emotion-laden rendition and divine expression brings one the closest to experiencing the benevolence of the Gayatri Mantra.

Jagjit Singh has many devotional & Gurbani renditions to his credit. The success of these albums puts him in a league of his own. The soothing effect that Jagjit Singh's voice has on frayed nerves has often been referred to as a stress reliever.

The second product differentiator is the musical composition done for this album. Jagjit Singh has set the mantra recitation in Raag Yaman Kalyan which is also popularly known as the ‘Deepak Raag’. The Raag Yaman Kalyan is an Ujwalit (Enlightening) Raag. Composing the Gayatri Mantra in this raag has strengthened its power.

The Gayatri Mantra is believed to positively affect all our Chakras when heard or chanted along at dawn, noon and dusk.

The third innovation that Big Music’s release brings to the consumer is that one album contains three musical variations to suit different personalities and lifestyles.

The first rendition is a pure acoustic version. At times of personal introspection, when all one wants to do is be with one’s self, it is recommend to listen to the acoustic rendition of the Gayatri Mantra.

The second variation is a Gayatri Mantra recitation with a rhythmic music track, ideal to load on the iPod, laptop or playback in the car. The tempo is faster than the previous piece and is recommended for an outdoor situation like walking, driving a car or working in the office. It can also be set as a Ringtone.

The third set is a mid-tempo track with rhythm and harmony. It makes the listener feel one with the world. It can be used for playback in public places like temples, offices, schools etc. It is also, ideal for subscription as a Caller Tune.  CDs & cassettes will be available on BIG music at all leading stores. Consumers can download ring tones and caller tunes across major telecom networks.

Vidya Balan: music to the ears!

When it comes to keeping the unit entertained Vidya's an expert at it. "Vidya takes care that the unit does not get bogged down by mundane work and likes to cheer them up," said a unit member. The actress has downloaded music of various languages that appeal to the unit members. "Vidya has a good year for music. The tunes Downloaded by her are very soothing. It peps her staff and the unit Members. It sees them through the night. The best part is that they Don't feel tired but rejuvenated and look forward to work the next day Too"
