Darsheel Safary
India's child superstar Darsheel Safary did what he does
best; play games at a gaming zone and have a blast on
Children's Day! Spykar's OYO, jeanswear for smart kids
allowed their brand ambassador Darsheel Safary to let his
hair down along with several other children from Saint
Catherines Home on the occasion of children's day.
Sanjay Vakharia; marketing Director OYO said on the
occasion, "OYO's fashion show with the kids from Saint
Catherine's Home will be followed by some fun activities
which the kids can engage in. We wanted to give the kids a
once in a lifetime experience, make them walk the ramp and
ensure that they have a really good time; after all its
their day and they would love to spend it with Darsheel."
Prasad Pabrekar, the owner-ideator of OYO, while wishing all
the kids of the country, a very Happy and Fun filled
Children's Day, expressed his happiness and satisfaction for

Darsheel Safary who has been shooting non stop all through
his vacations in Ooty for his upcoming film with
Priyadarshan, came to Mumbai, especially to celebrate the

ramp with the kids, Darsheel also spent some fun time
playing with them. The kids were only too happy and excited
to pose for pictures with a star their age.
Darsheel also distributed some OYO gift hampers to the 30
kids who participated in the show.
Darsheel, when asked about the importance of Children's Day
said, "Children's Day is primarily the birthday of India's
first prime minister, Jawahar Lal Nehru.
After his death in 1964, his birthday has been celebrated as
children's Day in India because of his love and passion for
children. To the kids he was and is not the Indian political
leader and Prime Minister but is and has been known as
Chacha (Uncle) Nehru. He added,
"Children's Day, though is
a day of fun, masti and games, and gifts, for the kids, we
should not forget that it's also the birthday of one of our
country's greatest Leaders...
Darsheel speaking about the importance of the under
privileged kids, said, "OYO very strongly supports the cause
of Under Priveledged kids, and I personally wanted to spend
time with the kids from Saint Catherine's Home to celebrate
Children's Day.
So I was really happy that the brand I am endorsing also
supports the same cause that is close to my heart. Also
I am very happy because I got to play some of my favorite

Dasvidaniya is a bitter-sweet situational comedy about a man
Amar Kaul. One am ong
the millions of people in the pool of Mumbai's ever
increasing population, Amar's existence is easily
forgettable. His innocence and his obession for making his
daily " To do list" every morning is what motivates him to
look forward to the next day.
This film intoduces the Russian actress Svitlana. Dialogue
and story is by Arshad Sayed,Art Direction by Rakesh
Morchale and Arun Verma is the director of Photography,
music has been given by Kailash Kher.
One More Thought Entertainment ( Azam Khan) is the producer
of the film. The Co- Producer is Lemontea Productions (Vinay

Shashant Shah who is the director of the film joined the
artists in their enjoyment and completely took pleasure of
the exceptional evening by the incomparable musician. The
director of the film Shashant Shah limited his excitement to

today has made me fall in love with the songs once again,

Taj wins
accolades at Damascus, all set to storm Cairo
The Taj may have been built over 350 years ago but it took
an Akbar Khan to resurrect it.
The director with his director's cut version of Taj Mahal --
An Eternal Love Story is making waves the globe over now.
When contacted at
Damascus where Taj was showcased at the opening ceremony of
the 'Special Indian Night', Khan is excited about the
accolades and critical acclaim that it has won there.
Earlier, The Hon'ble Prime
Minister of India Dr. Manmohan Singh who saw the film with
his family presented a print of this film to the former
President of Pakistan Gen. Parvez Musharraff for his
viewing, as a gift from India. Taj has also been adorned by
two Indian National Awards for best costumes and art
direction by Hon'ble President of India Mrs. Pratibha Patil,
besides being selected by Dubai International Film
Festival committee for a world premiere on Dec 11. Recently
the film was invited by the Govt. of Abu Dhabi for a special
screening at the Al-Dhafra Theatre of Authority for Culture
& Heritage.
Taj is also slated at the
prestigious 32nd Cairo International Film
Festival commencing from Nov 18.

Shama's parwana?
Recently,
when Vinod Kambli got to catch-up with the glamorous Shama
Sikander (his on-screen partner of the reality dance show 'Ek
Khiladi Ek Haseena' on Colors), he left no stone unturned to
woo the dame.
Not
only did he make all efforts to impress her with his dance
steps, but even sent her flowers when she fell ill. Later,
Kambli gifted Shama a friendship band, that too with an evil
eye on it. Wonder what was on his mind. "He's just a friend
and my ex-dance partner on the show; nothing more, nothing
less," says Shama.
Born in the small town of Makrana in Rajasthan, Shama is a
spunky Leo with varied interests like swimming, dancing,
gyming and hold your breath… kick boxing. And before you

shows in Gulf countries like Oman & Mascat for Bihar Relief
Fund with their team. During these shows this team has
collected 1 crore Rupees. Dinner package with Manoj Tiwari &
Prakash Jha was allotted in 6000 Riyal. Tea Table & Poster
was allotted 16 lacs Rs. Manoj Tiwari & Prakash Jha are
first persons from Hindi Cinema whose dinner was so costly.
Signed DVD by Manoj Tiwari & Prakash Jha was also sold by
one lac each. So this pair was collected there Rs. 1 Crore
in Oman. And this amount will use for Bihar flood effective
area.
In Gulf Country Oman a function was organized by Indian
Embassy Anil Wadhwa and famous businessman Mahesh Verma and

Aloo Chaat is a realistic comedy and is Aamna Shariff's

Recently title song of "Aloo Chaat" was shot at filmistan
Goreagaon.
It is a unique title song which will also be used as title
montage in the film. It will be sung by a well known singer.
All the important characters of the film - Manoj Pahwa,
Sanjay Mishra, Meenakshi Sethi are also a part of the title
song besides Aftab and Aamna.
The title song of Aloo Chat is composed by Vipin Mishra who
had composed title track of Mera Pehla Pehla Pyar (MP3).
Aftab Aamna look perfect as co-stars and their expressions
have added the right flavour to the song.
Robby Grewal the director of Aloo Chaat says, "The Video
employs a technique in which various actions or expressions
of characters are frozen in time and captured as high
resolution still images. Selected still images are then
stitched together into sequences which give the impression
of motion. These will then be blended with computer
generated environments and matte paintings to complete the
comic book effect. Though it is not a new technique, it
hasn't been used in Hindi cinema and has a distinct look and
feel from a traditional or conventional animation"

Oneness, a spiritual organization launched their book
"Awakening Into Oneness" – The Power of Blessing in the
Evolution of Consciousness written by Arjuna Ardagh. The
book was launched by the honorable and the renowned film
actor, Ms Shilpa Shetty at the Bombay Stock Exchange today.
Bollywood stars, Film Directors and Industry stalwarts were
also present at the launch.
Awakening into Oneness: The Power of Blessing in the
Evolution of Consciousness tells the remarkable story of
this radical new gateway to personal and global
transformation.
The author Arjuna Ardagh, in this book Awakening into
Oneness, describes the spiritual phenomenon in India called
the Oneness Blessing or “Deeksha” which is a powerful
transfer of energy from one person to another. Deeksha which
is a non-denominational
transfer of energy, that can be given by touch, through
the eyes, or through the power of intention, resulting in
healing, peace, and overall well-being. The Oneness
Blessing has transformed the lives of millions across the
world, irrespective of religion or tradition. This book is
brought out mainly for those who seek greater awareness of
self and a pathway to personal growth and hence Ardagh felt
the need to pass on this spiritual fulfillment to the rest
of the world.
After visiting the Oneness UniverCity located at
Varadaipalayam - AP, and undergoing a process, Ardagh,
founder of the Living Essence Foundation in Nevada City,
California, was amazed by the impact of this Blessing on his
life. He interviewed hundreds who had experienced the
Oneness Blessing. They reported a feeling of inner peace,
reduced mental chatter, and increased creativity and
achievement. The author shares dozens of personal accounts
of the impact of the Oneness Blessing, and continues
exploration at the Oneness UniverCity under the guidance of
Sri Bhagavan and Sri Amma. Ardagh also discusses the
positive effect of the Blessing on the body, on
relationships, and even in business, adding that “the
blessing is something few people will be able to ignore in
the years ahead”.
Arjuna Ardagh has captured the fundamental nature of the
Oneness Blessing in this book. He objectively addresses both
the acknowledgements and criticisms of the Oneness Blessing
and lets the reader make up his mind about its merits. He
writes in the epilogue: "It may be that what has been

7th Asian film fest opens at Y.B. Chavan Centre
in
south Mumbai today.

Festival' s seventh edition will be opened with the Chinese
film " Tuya' s Marriage" on 16th October. And Chief Minister
of Maharashtra, Honorable Shri. Vilasrao Deshm ukh
has been consented to be the chief guest for the inaugural
function. The inaugural function will be held at Y. B Chavan
Ventre in south Mumbai today.
